      Public Relations and Marketing Intern

• Developed a social media strategy used to manage the day-to-day engagement efforts on the VIF-affiliated LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google+ accounts. Tracked and created bimonthly reports on metrics; saw a 75% increase in followers and 94% Klout score increase over a 3-month period.

• Collaborated with members of the marketing team to create press releases, corporate blog posts, slide show presentations, convention sales collateral, and a media kit for partner schools.

• Interviewed four honorees featured in the AT&T Heritage Calendar celebrating North Carolinians who have dedicated themselves to the advancement of civil rights

• Wrote biographies of the honorees to be published in the calendar distributed to more than 1,800 state schools, as well as integrated into a civil rights curriculum database available online for N.C. public school educators
